NATIONAL AND LOCAL HOG CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

  1. First and foremost, you MUST be an Active Member of National HOG to be a member of any local chapter.

  2. If you are a couple that wish to join San Diego HOG, you BOTH must be members of National HOG. The individual that is your passenger can join National HOG as an “Associate” member. That individual is also required to fill out an “Enrollment Form” for San Diego HOG.

  3. If you do not wish to join San Diego HOG, but you want to ride with us, you are welcome to do so (except for CLOSED rides). However, if you are not a member, you are required to sign a Release Form prior to EACH ride.

  4. Remember, 2 people cannot use the same National number.

  5. National Memberships run from the month you enrolled with them for one year (example: August 2007 to August 2008). San Diego HOG is active for the Calendar year (e.g., January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007). It is your responsibility to maintain your National Membership. If your National membership expires during the year, San Diego HOG is notified. You have 30 DAYS to renew your National membership before you are removed from San Diego HOG’s database and membership in San Diego HOG is revoked.

 

SAN DIEGO HARLEY RIDERS REWARDS PROGRAM

 

  1. The Rider Rewards Program is a product of San Diego Harley Davidson, NOT the San Diego HOG Chapter.

  2. If you purchased a new bike from San Diego Harley Davidson, you will receive a Rider Rewards card from San Diego H-D.

  3. If you want to get a Rider Rewards card, see any of the sales personnel at the Motorclothes Department. There is a one-time charge of $39.95.

  4. San Diego Harley and San Diego HOG have teamed together to allow you to earn EXTRA points on your Rewards card. The dealer will provide opportunities throughout the year to earn points for volunteering for certain events. Keep an eye out for e-mails about these opportunities!

  5. Remember, you MUST be a member of National HOG AND San Diego HOG to receive these Reward points through San Diego HOG.

  6. Remember, for those couples that use a single Rewards card, BOTH individuals must be a National member AND Chapter member to earn double points.

Our Objective is have to FUN and enjoy riding together with friends and family. Paperwork is NOT FUN! However, rules are rules and so are the bylaws of National HOG. San Diego Harley Davidson and San Diego HOG Chapter follow and obey these bylaws. The rules are there to protect everyone and keep everyone safe on the road.
